Terre Haute residents voice concern over Supreme Court ruling

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Following the ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States overturning Roe v. Wade, a group of people gathered outside the Vigo County Courthouse to protest the decision.

They held signs for drivers to see as they passed by the courthouse.

Caroline Heath was one of the individuals protesting, she explained why she wanted to make her voice heard.

“It’s going to affect so many people. It’s going to affect a lot of women. Anybody with a uterus is going to be greatly affected and women will die because of this. It’s really stripping [away] rights of, you know, half of our country.”

She says she expects to continue to protest the ruling Saturday.
