Deputies: Flagler County sex offender in possession of fentanyl arrested
A Bunnell man was arrested Thursday afternoon, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say during a drug raid on 1455 County Road 302, they found a registered sex offender, Todd Blanchard in possession of fentanyl. Blanchard had enough fentanyl to kill 2,250 people, according to deputies. A search warrant had been served at 1455 County Road 302, where detectives found 6.6 grams of cocaine, various paraphernalia, over $1,000 cash and 4.5 grams of fentanyl. His criminal history goes back to 1984. Blanchard had been charged with multiple crimes, including delivery of controlled substances, lewd and lascivious molestation with a victim under 16 and burglary. Deputies say Blanchard is facing charges for trafficking fentanyl, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $20,500, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
