Pregnant dog stolen from outside Petco
Police are investigating a report regarding a pregnant dog stolen from outside a South Burlington Petco earlier this month.South Burlington Police said they were called to the Petco on Williston Road on June 2 after a woman reported her dog, Pebbles, was stolen.The woman, who was not identified, said she had left Pebbles outside the store while she was shopping inside.Pebbles is described as a black, brown and white Pitbull mix, approximately 1 year old. She could deliver puppies at any time, according to authorities.Police are seeking the identity of two white females who may have more information about the dog's whereabouts. The women are described as being approximately 40-50 years old with blonde hair. They were last seen driving a dark gray or red sedan.Anyone with information is asked to contact the South Burlington Police Department.
