Police Beat for Friday, June 24th, 2022

A 29-year-old Ottawa man, Brandon Stange, was arrested by State Police for possession of a controlled substance and possession of adult cannabis in a vehicle.  He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Four others were brought to jail on outstanding warrants.

  • 36-year-old Carolyn Pribble of Richmond Height Mobile Home Park in Central City was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant on a possession of methamphetamine charge.    Bond is set at $20,000.
  • 40-year-old Heather Sconzo of Dover Street in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police on a Marion County felony failure to appear on a pending possession of methamphetamine charge.  Bond is set at $20,000.
  • 21-year-old James Wooten of Moro, Georgia was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on a pending domestic battery charge.   Bond is set at $5,000.
  • 33-year-old Stephen Pitts of Red Stripe Road in Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a Douglas County misdemeanor warrant.  Bond is set at $15,000.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked at a home in the 4000 block of Walnut Hill Road in Walnut Hill.
