The Pride in the Park festival will take place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Riverbank Park, 328 Saginaw St., in downtown Flint.
Carl “Furillostar” Franklin, Jr., a Black queer pop artist from Flint, will host the day’s festivities.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, there will be a Flint Pride Mini-Ball that will award trophies and cash prizes to the winners in four categories: Pride Best Dressed, Flint’s Got Talent, Runway and Vogue - Let’s See Those.
More information and flyers are available on the Flint Pride Facebook page.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Pride Service is also set to hold a Pride Service on Saturday.
All are welcome to join the service at noon on June 25 at the church, 711 Saginaw St., located in the city’s downtown area.
“Please join us for this time of prayer and reflection in the Episcopal tradition of love and inclusion,” reads a Facebook post on the gathering. “God loves us all - No exceptions.”
