This weekend will have some really nice periods of weather for hitting the beach or hitting the water.
A cold front comes through Saturday night and Sunday morning. Cooler temperatures will gradually move in Sunday afternoon. Before the breezy, cooler Sunday afternoon, some Lake Michigan and Lake Huron beaches will be a good destination.
Here are the waves forecasts for Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The water at some Lake Michigan and Lake Huron beaches is really warming up. The graph below shows the water temperature at a depth of three feet at Muskegon. With Saturday’s wind out of the southwest, the warmer water will stay pinned up against the Michigan shoreline on Lake Michigan. So you can expect Saturday to be a very nice beach day along the Lake Michigan shore.
