Florida woman caught loading gun inside emergency room

A 37-year-old Florida woman was arrested inside of the emergency room after she was caught loading a gun.
The incident occurred Blake Hospital on Wednesday.
Staff members say Jamekyra Ulisa Levertt Chapman was sitting inside of the emergency room with an IV in her arm when members of the security team witnessed her pull a gun out of her purse and load it.
A security guard then approached Chapman about the incident before contacting the police.
Responding officers searched Chapman and found a semi-automatic gun with an incorporated laser inside of her purse, along with three magazines.
She was taken outside of the hospital and then placed in handcuffs. Chapman is now charged with two felonies, introducing a firearm into a hospital and possession of a concealed weapon without a permit.
