How PatBO and Alessandra Ambrosio Brought Brazilian Flair to NYC
Patricia Bonaldi, the designer behind the dreamy resort wear label PatBO, has mastered the art of creating vacation-worthy frocks. So it was only natural that she transported guests to an enchanted tropical paradise for the brand’s dinner at Fasano’s, a New York City-based restaurant with roots in São Paulo, Brazil. The cause for the celebration: the launch of a new 16-piece capsule collection with Alessandra Ambrosio.
Of course, the Brazilian model was there dressed to the nines in a head-turning black jumpsuit equipped with shimmering fringe details, sheer sleeves, and legs, as well as jaw-dropping cut-outs. And she wasn’t alone. In fact, it was a sea of PatBO frocks at the dining tables—which were decorated with flowering laceleaf plants—from Cara Santana’s white-hot mini to Jenny Cipoletti’s ruffled gown.
Before the three-course meal was served and shots of Cincoro Reposado tequila were taken, Bonaldi and Ambrosio welcomed guests with a few remarks. And the night ended on a high note with the ultimate dessert bar filled with mouth-watering Brazilian truffles and espresso martinis. Take a closer look at the magical evening below.
