WORCESTER – Police arrested a man on Friday morning, June 24, in connection to shots fired on Tuesday.
Police responded to Gardner Street on Tuesday, June 21. The investigation led officers to a suspect, Trevor Brown, 21, of Natick.
On Friday morning, around 5:30 AM, officers saw a man illegally operating a scooter Grand Street. During questioning, officers recognized the man as Brown and arrested him.
Brown had a loaded handgun in his backpack. He does not have a license to carry firearms.
Brown faces charges of:
- Armed Assault to Murder;
- Vandalism;
- Discharge of a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling;
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License;
- Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm;
- Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device; and
- A helmet law violation
