Maryland Man Impersonates Walmart Employee in Attempted Theft

OXFORD, PA — A resident of Perry Hall, Maryland has been arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Christian Chidube Nanno, age 22, has been charged with Retail Theft in connection to a shoplifting incident at the Walmart Supercenter located at 800 Commons Drive in Oxford, Pennsylvania.

Authorities state that on June 13, 2022, Tropers from the Avondale Station responded tot he the Walmart Supercenter for a reported theft. An unknown Black male wearing a yellow and orange high visibility vest, green sweatshirt, gray shorts, black and white Nike sneakers, and a black facemask reportedly entered the Walmart and impersonated an employee. The suspect then attempted to remove various electronic items from the store, totaling $304.22. Through their investigation, and a previous Retail Theft incident, Christian Chidube Nanno was identified as the suspect.

Charges were filed through the Magisterial District Court 15-3-05 in Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
