Paterson Murderer Caught and Arrested

PATERSON, NJ- The Paterson Police Department arrested Trayshaun Harris on Sunday for the murder of Tiheen Smith on June 18th.

On Saturday the 18th, officers were made aware of a walk-in shooting victim at Saint Joseph’s Hospital. Before Mr. Smith was able to be questioned by police, he passed away from his injuries.

Further investigation revealed that the shooting took place in the area of 126 Pearl Street, and that Harris was the individual who fired the weapon, according to police.


Harris is being charged with murder in the first degree, unlawful possession of a weapon in the second degree, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the second degree.
