SIX PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Six people pled guilty and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell in District Court this week.

Sperry Demack Nichols Laster, 40 of Washington, was sentenced to 8 years in prison for Injury to a Child.

Alineicia Nichole Charna Ewing, 25 of Brenham, had her probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 4 years in prison for Assaulting a Peace Officer and Harassment in a Correctional Facility.

Matthew Ryan Whitford, 27 of Washington, was sentenced to 10 months in state jail for Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000 and Credit or Debit Card Abuse.  He was also ordered to pay $7000 in restitution.

Stephanie Reyes, 36 of Bryan, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation, for Possession of Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $250 fine and perform 250 hours of community service.

Shawn Lomantt Hancock, 46 of Brenham, was sentenced to 14 days in the Washington County Jail for Theft Property less than $2,500, with 2 or More Previous Convictions.

Tyrin Dewayne Hunter, 28 of Brenham, was sentenced to 447 days in state jail and 365 days in the Washington County Jail for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
