A new skate park is coming to Tuttle Park this weekend, in addition to general improvements to the park, at 240 W. Oakland Ave., just north of Ohio State University.

The skate park's grand opening will be held Saturday and will include demonstrations from professional skaters, instructional workshops through Board for Bros and a board and helmet giveaway.

Improvements to the city park include a basketball court, a tennis and improved futsal court, restored murals and more.

Admission is free and skate demos will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by various presentations beginning at 11 a.m..
