Motorcyclist dies after crash involving semi in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, MI -- A motorcyclist has died in a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer Friday morning near the I-94 Business Loop in Kalamazoo.

Michigan State Police troopers from the Paw Paw Post responded to the scene on Sprinkle Road at the I-94 Business Loop.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, Michigan State Police said.

According to troopers, traffic has been affected in the area, but it continues to move. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

Police did not immediately release the time of the crash and how it occurred.
