The Minnesota BCA is investigating an officer involved shooting that ended a lengthy standoff in St. Michael.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Department says 39-year old Brandon Gardas was struck by gunfire and is hospitalized at the North Memorial Hospital.
Authorities were called out early Tuesday morning in regards to a gun complaint. Gardas reportedly was barricaded inside the home.
The BCA says the first shot was fired that night around 11:55 p.m. The second shooting around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening involving a St. Cloud police officer.
No law enforcement were injured. Gardas reportedly had several warrants out for his arrest including domestic assault and felon in possession of a firearm.
