Someburros opened its eighth location in March. The new restaurant is near ASU's Tempe campus.

Someburros, a family-operated restaurant that has been serving Sonoran-style Mexican food in metro Phoenix since 1986, is opening its first location in the West Valley.

On July 16, the restaurant, which has locations across the Valley, is expanding to Goodyear near the southwest corner of Van Buren Street and Estrella Parkway.

On opening weekend, the 13th location will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu includes crispy and soft tacos, tostadas and its signature burros that can be made enchilada, chimichanga or fundido style. Customers can also order its frozen margaritas to-go.

The grand opening will take place from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 16 and 17. There will be live mariachi music, piñata prizes like Someburros gift cards along with made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine, according to a press release.
