JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) —
Johnson City Police arrested James Saylor, 43, of Jonesborough and charged him with methamphetamine possession, introduction of contraband into a penal Facility, resisting arrest and identity theft on June 23.

According to police, officers responded to College Heights Road, on a complaint of a subject rummaging through a dumpster.
Officers found the male subject, later identified as Saylor, who gave the police a false name.
Officers attempted to take Saylor into custody, and he resisted arrest.
Saylor also was found in possession of methamphetamine, according to police.

Saylor is being held on a $21,000 bond with an arraignment set for June 24, at 1:30 p.m.
