MORGAN CITY, La. (BRPROUD) – It’s hot outside and for some in Louisiana, it may even hotter next month.
The Morgan City Fire Department is giving everyone a heads up that a planned power outage is coming at the end of June.
The temporary loss of power is supposed to start at 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 30.
According to The City of Morgan City Electrical Department, it “will last approximately 4-5 hours.”
MCFD asks everyone to prepare now for this upcoming planned power outage.
Specifically, the Morgan City Fire Department advises that “if you are on at home oxygen and depend on electricity, please make plans ahead of time.
