Idaho native Chris Jones is the soul of Plant Therapy, an essential oils company located in Twin Falls that takes the desired natural oils from plants and makes them affordable and accessible.
Jones, along with his wife, Amanda, bought the business from Amanda’s mother in 2009, which at the time was a natural beauty products company. The business grew quickly, doing $1.4 million in its first year and $4 million in its second.
According to Inc. 500, Plant Therapy is the 31st fastest-growing privately owned business in the United States, and also named the company number 5 in retail and number 1 in Idaho.
Jones has made sure that the company’s growth is used to give back to the community. Over $500,000 has been donated to charities and families in need, not just locally but worldwide.
