DETROIT LAKES — Country star Jake Owen will be in Detroit Lakes for the July 4 holiday weekend, as headliner for the 7th Annual Music on the Mountain fundraiser on Saturday, July 2.
Owen, a chart-topping country singer-songwriter who has eight Billboard No. 1 hits to his name, will be joined at this year's Detroit Mountain fundraiser by special guests John Morgan and George Birge.
Music on the Mountain supports capital improvements at Detroit Mountain Recreation Area. Past events have supported the build and expansion of the Landslide Tubing Park, adding an additional snow-making well to increase winter snow output, as well as paving the road into DMRA.
