Library reading program continues
Henryetta Public Library hosted their third Summer Reading Program meeting on Monday afternoon at Veteran’s Park. Four youth in attendance learned about the importance of friendship and encouragement. Library staff member Kathy Crosby led the meeting with the program, “Friendship is a Treasure.” Crosby read the book, “Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister to those attending. Afterward, youth created fish fans. “The kids had a grand time,” Crosby said. “Come see us next Monday, June 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the Veteran’s Park next to the library. Featured guest Brooke Smith will lead the program.” COURTESY PHOTO
