Opening Alert: The Oak House, Oradell, NJ

Oradell’s highly anticipated newcomer The Oak House has opened for business.

Located in the former Charlie Brown spot in Oradell, it’s the latest venture from the restauranteurs behind Fire & Oak, which has locations in Montvale and Jersey City.

The Oak House has been a passion project for the owners, who are aiming to “redefine casual dining” and deliver “a local family restaurant that sticks to the standards of what the Fire & Oak group represents: quality ingredients and elevated service in a comfortable environment.”

The menu (View Menu) offers chef-driven dishes like wings, roman pizzas, salads, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as an array of entrees, sides, and desserts.

Everything is made in-house down to the Vegetarian Burger. The kids menu is also 100% homemade and features full servings of vegetables with each dish.

The space holds two dining rooms, along with a generous bar area that also includes booths and tables. The full menu will be served at the bar, along with signature cocktails like a Double Espresso Martini and Yuzu Lemon Drop, as well as 12 draft beers and other bottles. To ensure seamless service, there is a separate service bar dedicated solely to the dining rooms.

Expect to see lots of exposed wood and brick set against the chocolate and cognac leather booths and seating. Extra touches include the up-lit bar, antique mirrors, and oversized antler chandelier.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
