Admiral Mike Franken, who is running against Chuck Grassley for a U.S. Senate seat was a part of Christina Bohannan’s multi-country tour this week. Franken spoke with KNIA/KRLS News at a stop in Pleasantville about how he plans to defeat Chuck Grassley.

“First and foremost, I will outwork him. This is my third event so far and I have four events planned each week with various elected officials. I am going to visit every county, every chamber of commerce, and every mayor I can. I believe the choice is for Republicans that want a different way, Independents that want a higher quality of life in the state, and certainly Democrats that want a more progressive future in the state of Iowa. I will have the necessary funding and will get Iowa to tier one and we will get the state to swing blue.”

Bohannan’s tour had stops in Marion, Warren, Jasper, and Mahaska County this week.
