Berks County Parks Second Summer Concert to be held July 10

Enjoy the natural beauty of our parks while enjoying live music during the second installment of our Berks County Parks and Recreation Summer Concert Series on Sunday, July 10! Each concert day this summer will include three musical acts at Gring’s Mill Amphitheater, free parking and on-site food trucks – the perfect recipe for a summer outing with the family!

Concert Lineup for Sunday, July 10:

From 1:30-3 | Miss Maggie Sings!
Peggy Gernerd is Miss Maggie, a children’s performer who combines singing, guitar, percussion, poems and stories to entertain and teach children of all ages (adults, too!).

From 3-5 | Dave Fry
Dave’s concerts feature traditional and contemporary folk music, spliced together with guitar, mandolin, banjo, wry and spontaneous commentary on American family life and plenty of participation on everyone’s part. Dave Fry is unique in his ability to entertain all ages and he builds a sense of community everywhere he performs.

From 5-7 | Maggie Spike
Maggie Spike is Maggie and Eric Gernerd, an acoustic based singer-songwriter duo from rural Eastern PA. As an alternative folk band, they enjoy performing several different styles of music that include folk, rock, acoustic pop, traditional British Isles/Celtic, jazz and world rhythms.

Food Truck: Mad J’s BBQ of Blandon

Upcoming Concerts: Sunday, August 14 and Friday, August 26.

Gring’s Mill is located at 2083 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing PA, 19610. These programs are presented by the Berks County Parks & Recreation Department.
