It was the Mavs first pick of the night after trading the No. 26 pick to Houston as part of the Christian Wood deal.

A Detroit native, Hardy averaged averaged 17.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, shooting 35.1 percent from the field.

The Mavs will hope to replace their backcourt losses from the Wood trade, with Hardy's dynamic scoring ability.
