Ribbon cutting ceremony held for County Connector Road 280B in DeFuniak Springs

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. -- A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday to celebrate the completion of County Connector Road 280B.

The $7 million project will connect U.S. Highway 331S to County Road 280A.
The project was made possible by a partnership between the state and county with city infrastructure.
“I’ve lived here all my life and there was always chatter about growth. We started talking about a connector road about seven years ago and I’m so glad the county picked this project up and worked with our state officials to get funding,” Bob Campbell, DeFuniak Springs mayor said.
