DERIDDER — The annual Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office girls’ basketball camp was a tremendous success as over 100 athletes competed in the event a couple of weeks ago at DeRidder High School.

Youngsters aged Pre-K to high school competed in the event. Players learned about individual skills, along with the foundations of the game, including teamwork and leadership.

The coaching staff at DeRidder High School conducted the annual clinic, which was enjoyed by all campers.
