Motorcyclist killed on Warren Avenue identified

A motorcyclist killed Wednesday on Warren Avenue in a wreck Bremerton police say was caused by speeding was identified as Michael Ormsbee, 29, of Graham.

At about 1 p.m. a police officer spotted two motorcyclists traveling south on Warren Avenue at a high rate of speed, according to an account from the Bremerton Police Department.

The officer turned around to stop the motorcyclists to find Ormsbee had crashed into a vehicle turning out onto Warren Avenue.

The Kitsap County Coroner released Ormsbee’s name Thursday and found the cause of his death was blunt force trauma and the manner was accidental.
