WORCESTER – A report of a fight involving knives brought police officers to the Worcester Public Library on Thursday, June 23, shortly after 3 PM. Upon arrival, officers observed three individuals running away, bumping into people on Franklin Street.
Officers were able to locate two of those fleeing; a 17-year-old male and Chris Tisdale, 22, of Worcester. Both individuals were each in possessions of a knife, according to the Worcester Police Department.
Police say the initial investigation revealed that Tisdale and he 17-year-old both wielded while involved in a dispute with an 18-year-old male.
Tisdale and the 17-year-old face charges of:
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife);
- Disturbing the Peace;
- Disorderly Conduct; and
- Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.
