Francisco “Jefe” Aguero Jr., 77, died on June 9, 2022. He was born in Pearsall on January 6, 1945 to parents Francisco Aguero Sr. and Nestora Salas Rodriguez.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Francisco is survived by the mother of his sons and lifelong friend, Mary Lou Aguero, sons Francisco Aguero III (wife Julie), Joe Aguero (wife Alex), sisters Maria Villareal (husband Simon), Yolanda Rodriguez Martinez (husband Primotivo), niece Diamantina Pedroza (husband Greg), nephew Gilbert Villarreal, extended family Esther and Mike Chacon, grandchildren Ashley (husband Joey), Joe Jr., Jacob (wife Alexus), Francisco IV (wife Daphne), and great-grandchildren Francisco (V), Akenacee, Houston, Oakland, Mateo and Alaina, longtime friends Mark Lynch and Joe Carroll.
Jefe was a farm manager for all of his adult life and enjoyed days he could be on the farm working with his men and the produce they were cultivating. He also enjoyed time with family, fishing, gardening and garage sales.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25 at 9 a.m. with a Rosary recited at 10 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with a burial to follow.
