JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown men’s basketball team will host high schoolers for a point guard camp coming up on Sunday, June 26th and an Elite Camp on August 3rd to round out the summer.

UJ Head Coach Danny Neville and Associate Head Coach Tyler Peterson were both in studio on Thursday to talk about the upcoming camps as well as new recruits on the team this season. Coach Neville stated he got this idea from camps he helped run while he was growing up in Iowa.

The cost to attend either camp is $50. Sunday’s camp registration link is available HERE. The registation link for the Elite Camp on August 3rd can be found HERE. Camps are for high schoolers grades nine through twelve.

Coach Neville also talked about some of the new recruits that the Jimmies have brought in for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

Jamestown will open up the year on November 4th against Dickinson State and will start GPAC play November 16th versus Dakota Wesleyan. UJ will also be traveling to Kingsport, Tennessee over Thanksgiving to compete in the 8th Annual NAIA Classic ‘The Show’.
