SOUTH BURLINGTON — Police responded to a rollover crash in South Burlington yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a two-vehicle crash on I-89 north at around 10:15 a.m.

Police say they located the first vehicle at a position of controlled rest on the shoulder and the second vehicle was at a position of uncontrolled rest on its roof in the swamp embankment when they arrived.

According to the report, Matthew Proof, 33, of Calais, was traveling north on I-89 in the left lane before the crash.

Proof told police that he activated his blinker to change lanes.
