The Oversight Committee congressional hearing took a number of wild turns on Wednesday, with everything from deflategate to questions as to why Barstool Sports was shunned by the league.
There was plenty of talk about Dan Snyder and the Commanders as well, but overall, The Sports Junkies agreed that the process was an absolute mess.

“It was just a s--tshow what was going on with these politicians. At one point, they were talking about deflategate. I was like, ‘What is going on?’”
On the questions about deflategate:
“He was an embarrassment to himself and his constituents. He was embarrassing, and he wasn’t the only one. It went close to three, probably tickling four hours yesterday.”
On Roger Goodell’s testimony:
“I didn’t think he was a buffoon. I think he came off OK. I think he’s good in those scenarios, when he’s getting grilled, because that’s what he’s used to.”
On the hearing as a whole:
“I’ll never watch another Oversight Committee hearing ever again.”
