Things are heating up at Adventureland!
The GRAND OPENING of Adventureland’s brand-new rollercoaster, FIREBALL, is Friday, June 24th!
The festivities will kick off at 5/5:30pm with a blessing of the ride by Emmy Nominated Catholic Faith Network President and CEO, Monsignor Jim Vlaun. Next up is a proclamation presentation from the Town of Babylon, followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony. Fiery thrills like Fire Performers, a Special Effects Pyrotechnics Display by Fireworks by Grucci, Free FireBall Giveaways, and more will make this event the party you won’t want to miss.

Only the 4th of its kind in the world and the first and only in North America, the rollerball rollercoaster “FireBall” was manufactured and designed by the prestigious Ride Engineers of Switzerland (RES).
The custom designed red and yellow FireBall is a family friendly coaster as children 42” tall can ride with an adult; children 48” and taller can ride alone. It features three swinging ride gondolas that seat riders in pairs and back-to-back, riding parallel to the red vertical track. Riders experience a free-falling sensation as the gondolas accelerate around the vertical curves—FireBall will have you on the edge of your seat for nearly 90 seconds of pure thrill!! FireBall is located next to Adventureland’s iconic Wave Swing and will be visible to those traveling north and south on Route 110, featuring LED lighting and a LED eternal “flame” representing the everlasting memories that Long Island families make at Adventureland each year. Riders soar up into the sky and then travel down the upright track, providing expansive views of the heart of Farmingdale and heart-stopping thrills!
