FARMINGTON, N.Y. (WROC) — A person is dead and three are injured after a crash in Farmington Thursday.
State police troopers blocked off Shortsville Road and nearby areas around 10:26 a.m. to investigate the fatal crash.
Officials say that at the intersection of County Route 41 and Payne Road, a southbound van drove through a stop sign and into the path of a westbound F-350 towing a dump trailer.
The sole occupant of the van was deceased at the scene, and the three occupants in the F-350 were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
