Kerr Reservoir, Lake Eufaula Fishing Report

Here are the weekly fishing reports for Robert S. Kerr Reservoir and Lake Eufaula. Both reports were submitted on Friday, June 17.

Robert S. Kerr Reservoir

Elevation normal, water 68˚ and murky.

Largemouth and spotted bass good on buzz baits, minnows, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, spoons and topwater lures around brush structure, channels, coves, points and weed beds.

Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on crawfish, cut bait, dough bait, goldfish, hot dogs, minnows, shad, shrimp, sunfish and worms below the dam, around brush structure, discharge, main lake, river channel, river mouth, rocks, tailwater and weed beds.

Black and white crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows and small lures below the dam, in coves, around docks, points, rocks, tailwater and weed beds.

Eufaula Lake

Elevation 4 foot above normal and rising, water 75˚ and murky.

Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on buzz baits, jigs, plastic baits and spinnerbaits around brush structure, creek channels, docks, points and riprap.

Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on crawfish, cut bait, goldfish, live bait, live shad and shad along channels, river channel and river mouth.

Black and white crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows and spoons around brush, creek channels and rocks.
