On early Wednesday, a 28-year-old man, from Oakville, lost his life following a traffic accident near Rochester.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place in the 10700 block of SR 12. The early reports showed that the motorcycle rider was traveling east on SR 12 in lane one, where a horse was standing.
The motorcycle struck the horse before coming to a stop on the shoulder. According to the officials, both the man and the horse died as a result of the collision. Authorities closed the road to give way to the investigation. No other details are available.
The crash remains under review.
