Art Contest Entry Deadline Extended

There is still time to participate in the 2022 South Fork Wildcat Creek Art Contest. Entries are now being accepted through June 30. This art contest is being hosted by the Clinton County Soil & Water Conservation District with support from the Frankfort Community Public Library.

Individuals are invited to express their appreciation for the South Fork Wildcat Creek watershed as a water resource and as a community treasure. A variety of art mediums are welcomed. Examples of eligible mediums include: photography, water color or oil paintings, pottery, ceramics, written work (poetry), woodworking, printmaking, jewelry, fiber arts, digital media and videos. Submitted videos or short films will be shown during the artist reception and awards ceremony.

There is no cost to enter. Artwork will be displayed at the Frankfort Community Public Library (Anna and Harland Hubbard Gallery – upper level) July 1-30. Public voting will occur throughout the event and will factor into the final results. Age categories include age 12 and under and 13 and over. Registration is required.
