Update 1 p.m.: The church was the focus of a protest in 2017. In the below video from May 20, 2017, protesters lined up outside the church holding up signs claiming the church was a cult.
Update 12:41 p.m.: WJCL has learned directly from the FBI that agents are executing a search warrant. No arrests have been made at this time.

Initial report: Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation were seen raiding a Hinesville church Thursday morning.
The House of Prayer Church in Hinesville was raided by a swarm of FBI agents and police from outside the Liberty County jurisdiction.

Law enforcement officers were seen carrying automatic weapons around the area of the church, located on the 2500 block of Airport Road.
A group of women and men were seen standing outside one of the buildings on the property being guarded by a female officer with a weapon.
