SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Five Harvard Men's Lacrosse players earned spots on the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division I All-Academic Team, as announced by the organization this afternoon. Seniors Steven Cuccurullo, Austin Madronic, Kyle Massimillian, Kyle Mullin and Charlie Olmert all landed on t he team after scoring high marks in the classroom during their senior years. These are the second academic honors for Kyle Mullin and Charlie Olmert this season after Olmert earned Senior CLASS First-Team All-America honors and Mullin earned a Scholar All-American nomination from the USILA. All five of these seniors positively effected the Harvard Men's Lacrosse cumulative GPA, which yesterday was announced as the highest in the nation amongst Division I schools.

Members of the teams are nominated by head coaches in Divisions I, II and II, and are comprised of student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and on the field over the course of their men's lacrosse career. Nominees must have senior or graduate student standing, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team.
