Evelia Flores
Evelia Porras de Flores, 80, of Perryton, died June 17, 2022 in Amarillo.
Services were held Wednesday, June 22, at Iglesia Pentecostal Unida in Perryton with David Hernandez officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Feb. 2, 1942 in Chihuahua, Mexico and married Saul Flores Sept. 23, 1957 in Mexico. She was a member of Iglesia Pentecostal Unida.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Miriam Simmon; and her parents, Guadalupe and Librada (Hernandez) Porras.
She is survived by her husband, Saul, of the home; three sons, Adolfo Flores of Perryton, Otoniel Flores of Mexico and Ismael Flores of Dallas; four daughters, Loyda Flores, Aida Flores, Elia Greenway, all of Perryton, and Aracely Mitchum of Dallas; one sister, Guadalupe Ortega; one brother, Fernando Porras; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
