A man is facing multiple charges after a home invasion in Charleston.

Charleston Police were called on Monday to a home in the 200 block of North 11th Street to investigate a reported domestic battery incident.

The victim told officers Robert W. Jones broke a window to get into the residence and then battered her by holding her down and biting her ear.

Officers say the victim had visible injuries.

Jones was arrested on charges of home invasion, domestic battery, and unlawful restraint.

He was taken to the Coles County Jail.

Bond for Jones was set at $150,000.
