JUNE 10, 2022

 

While in custody, deputies arrested Ryan Bailey on a warrant out of El Paso County Court. Bailey later bonded out on a $200.00 bond.

 

Deputies observed a code enforcement violation in the 400 block of Elm Avenue in the town of Akron. The owners were given a warning.

 

JUNE 11, 2022

 

Deputies were dispatched to a two vehicle non injury accident at Dade and 1st Avenue in the town of Otis. After investigation, deputies cited Jesus Holguin Lerma for backing vehicle on roadway of controlled access highway.

 

Deputies were dispatched to a hay fire in the 27000 block of Highway 34. The fire was reported to have started while grinding hay.

 

Deputies received a report of an abandoned vehicle on County Road 14, just east of Highway 34. When deputies arrived on scene, they determined that the vehicle was a hazard to traffic as it was parked in the roadway. The vehicle was towed and an attempt to locate the owner is ongoing.

 

Deputies received a report of a vandalism that occurred in the last 30 days. The case is under investigation.

 

JUNE 12, 2022

 

Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check for a vehicle that had been parked at the intersection of Highway 34 and Dungan Street in the town of Otis. Deputies were notified that the driver was slumped over in the driver’s seat. Deputies found the vehicle at a residence and contacted the driver outside her home. After further investigation, deputies determined that there wasn’t enough evidence to pursue criminal charges against the driver.

 

JUNE 13, 2022

 

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Adams Avenue in the town of Akron. After further investigation, deputies arrested Mason Kehl on nine charges of protection order violation.

 

Deputies arrested Jason Schadegg on a warrant out of Logan County for motor vehicle theft. Schadegg was later transported to Logan County Jail.

 

JUNE 15, 2022

 

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of West 2nd Street in the town of Akron. After further investigation, deputies arrested Bryan Alexander for 3rd degree assault and domestic violence. Alexander was later released on a $1,000.00 PR bond.
