Stolen vehicle recovered from Lake Hickory
Sheriff Chris Bowman and investigators with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen vehicle June 22, 2022, that was underwater near the Dusty Ridge Access to Lake Hickory in the Wittenberg Community of Alexander County.
The vehicle was reported stolen to Hickory Police Department in 2019. There were no occupants inside the vehicle.
