Down Memory Lane to be open for alumni, Summerfest weekend

OSMOND — The display window at the Osmond Senior Center on State Street has been decorated with Osmond High School memorabilia just in time for the OHS alumni reunion.

The senior center will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, and from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, during Osmond Alumni and Summerfest weekend so visitors may take a look at Down Memory Lane, Osmond’s museum which is in the back room of the senior center.

The room has been recently remodeled and cleaned up after a storm earlier this year damaged the ceiling. The items in the museum include vintage items from Osmond’s schools, businesses and residents that tell the history of the town.

Coffee and cookies will be served, and Osmond memorabilia will be available for purchase. The items include Osmond Centennial cookbooks, Q125 and other Osmond plates, and a limited number of train banks and Osmond Q125 history books. Proceeds will go toward community events.
