LOS ANGELES (KNX) — A recent Fox News poll showed that Vice President Kamala Harris' approval rating dropped by about 17 points to just 39% in the eyes of voters, as 56% of voters in the poll had an unfavorable view of her.

With Harris' approval rating dropping alongside President Joe Biden's -- with a 42% favorable opinion in the latest national poll -- the Democratic National Convention cut the price of a photo with Harris at the DNC's Women’s Leadership Forum from $15,000 to $5,000, according to Fox News and Puck News.

Then the event did not sell enough tickets, and was postponed, according to Puck's Tara Palmeri.

"DNC is slashing prices for a photo w/ Kamala Harris. Tickets for a photo with the VP at the Women's Leadership Forum started at $15,000, but it failed to sell enough tickets & is being postponed. VP's June fundraiser in Cali is charging $5,000 for a photo," Palmeri tweeted.

Daniel Wessel, the DNC deputy communications director, spoke to Fox News about the price tag for a picture with the Vice President at the fundraiser.

"As has always been the case, there are a variety of ticket levels for every event as is pretty standard for finance events," Wessel said. "We've raised record amounts of money with help from both Vice President Harris and President Biden, so we’re going to continue to do what clearly works well for the party and our donors."

While Harris' approval rating has dropped, it was actually lower at only 28% back in November, according to a USA Today-Suffolk University poll. At that time, 51% of voters disapproved of her job, while 21% were undecided.

Nicole Morales, the GOP deputy national press secretary, tweeted her opinion in response to Palmeri and said that despite inflation, "at least taking a picture with Kamala is on clearance!"
