Neillsville School Board Approves Bid for Additional Gym Wall Project

The Neillsville School Board approved a bid for the additional gym wall project.

The Board approved the bid from Rhom Construction in the amount of $47,655. The Board also approved the bid from HS Fence Company for fence repair and replacement in the amount of $26,452, approved the Achievement Gap Reduction Report as presented, approved the Memorandum of Understanding with Head Start as presented, and approved the 2022-2023 academic standards and educational options as presented.

The Board also approved the modifications to the Work Release Program as presented, approved the insurance policy with Tricor for 2022-2023 with a change in the property deductible from $5,000 to $25,000, approved the 2022-2023 WASB membership renewal as presented, and approved the 2022-2023 WIRSA membership renewal as presented.

The Board also approved the 2022-2023 WAEF membership renewal as presented, approved the Federal Programs Handbook modifications as presented, approved setting a temporary Fund 10 budget for 2022-2023 of $11,850,000, and approved setting Citizens State Bank, Associated Bank, Unity Bank, and Simplicity Credit Union as the official depositories for the 2022-2023 school year as presented.

The Board also approved authorizing District Administrator John Gaier to make investments for the 2022-2023 school year, approved the early graduation request for three students, approved the Project Search contract as presented, and approved the 2022-2023 WIAA membership renewal as presented.

The Board also approved the new reading series as presented, approved the use of two buses to transport volunteers to Farm Technology Days, and approved the monetary donation for MEC in the amount of $1,000 as presented.

In employment matters, the Board approved the resignation of Jennifer Roenz from her teaching assistant position, Michelle Rowell from her teaching assistant position, and Megan Kadlec from her 6th grade teaching position.

The Board approved the hiring of Paul Ziebell for the Middle School Science teaching position as presented and Kate Mueller for the 6th grade teaching position as presented. The Board approved the revised letter of confirmation for Morgan Spencer and Nate McDonaled as presented.

The Board approved the revised teaching contract for Jessica Brown as presented. The Board also approved the bonus pay for the bus drivers and mechanic as presented and the bonus pay for Kate Mueller as presented.

The Board also approved the revised 2022-2023 certified staff handbook with modifications as presented. Finally, the Board approved the initial adoption of policies IGBCA, IGBCE, changes to Policy IGBCB, changes to Policy IGBCC, and changes to Policy IGBCD.
