A three-bedroom waterfront spread in Malibu, California, belonging to songwriter and producer Finneas O’Connell has sold for $5.6 million. 

The deal closed on June 16, less than two years after the Grammy-winning musician, known for his frequent collaboration with younger sister Billie Eilish, purchased the home for $5.185 million in July 2020, records show.

The 1,250-square-foot home comes with extensive outdoor space and ocean views overlooking Malibu’s Las Flores beach, according to listing photos, with outdoor decks and seating on multiple levels. On the main level, an open kitchen with countertop seating opens into an airy living room and entertaining area with windows overlooking the water.

The home is also outfitted with a full security system as well as details including beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, and private beach access, according to the listing with Tori Horowitz of Compass, who declined to comment for this story.

Eric Haskell of The Agency represented the buyer, C Magazine founder and editorial director Jennifer Smith. Neither was immediately available for comment.

Mr. O’Connell, 24, goes by the single name Finneas as a performer and has earned a total of 13 Grammy nominations and eight awards. His collaboration with Ms. Eilish on the song “No Time to Die” from the James Bond film of the same title won a 2022 Academy Award for Best Original Song.The Los Angeles Times first reported the sale.
