A Springwater woman is facing charges after police say she was found slumped over a steering wheel - with a child in the running car.
Livingston County Sheriff's deputies and emergency responders were called to Airport Plaza in Dansville around 4:15 p.m. Monday, June 13 for the report of a woman unconscious behind the wheel with the car running and a small child in the back seat.
Deputies say Megan Koch, 27, appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Because Koch had a 20-month-old child in the vehicle, she was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated - Leandra's law, driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while impaired by drugs (combination of drugs), and endangering the welfare of a child.
Koch was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
