Its time once again for another Helper Saturday Vibes event set to take place on Saturday, June 25 at 5:00 pm on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Castle Country Radio sat down with Vendor Manager, Rachel Barbee to discuss all the details.
The Helper Saturday Vibes event that was held earlier this month had a theme entitled Pride. “The last event was our themed event Pride. It was the first Pride event in Carbon County, we were so impressed with the community and the number of people that came out. We think it was the biggest turnout we’ve had, probably a little over 2,200 people so it’s getting huge,” stated Barbee. The events each week are growing in popularity as residents and tourists enjoy an evening in Helper.
There are two bands that will be takin the stage beginning at 5:00 pm. “Oh we’ve got Rob Harrington and Dale’s House. They are a kickin, rockin, band, then we also have Bad Frances who’s going to be closing out the night. They do some amazing cover music from the 70s, 80s and 90s and more,” explained Barbee. Guests are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the bands.
There will be bounce houses for the children to enjoy and there will be adult beverages served in the beer garden. “Our bar we have our amazing signature cocktail which is our top-shelf margarita. We’re going to be bringing that back as our themed cocktail throughout the rest of the season. Check it out on each different date because there’s going to be different flavors to those cocktails and man, they’re good,” said Barbee. Guests will want to be sure to bring a form of I.D. with them when purchasing the adult beverages.
There will be several food trucks in attendance so folks will be able to enjoy a tasty treat or delicious meal during the evening’s musical gathering. “So this time we’ve got Smokin’ Roadside Grill that’s that amazing barbeque we had a couple weeks back and they’re always local in the community, everyone loves them. We’ve got Dee’s Kitchen doing some amazing street tacos. The beautiful Lita Riley will be there with her drinks and tacos as well. So quite a few people and it’s going to be great,” said Barbee.
